Elaine, I agree that's a lovely pic of Trevor and his bride but might NEVER forgive Loretta for posting that pic; I think Sheelagh's bobbles have just nearly knocked my specs off

For info that was the inaugural meeting of the Bootle May Day committee, made up of ladies whose mum's wouldn't allow them to parade through the streets asking strangers to "help the mayday Mister".

Many thanks Loretta, Elaine & Bee!! That was one neat photo you put on there Loretta, could be the start of putting up photos taken of members of the Bootle Forum over the years which would be so interesting!!!
Here is my contribution from 2012 I believe which was such a lovely get together at the fabulous 'Quo Vadis Restaurant' owned and run by Sheelagh & Ghattas, which I absolutely loved! (Everyone sadly is not on there as they were being given a tour of the Restaurant) It was a spur of the moment thing!!!

My eldest daughter, Gaynor, who works at the Children's Hospital in D.C. heard that a Snowy Owl had taken up residence at Union Station - here is what she sent me........
So I was hearing that a Snowy Owl had shown up at Union Station in DC and was taking a mini- vacation there, chasing pigeons and rats. Well, tonight I thought I’d swing by just to see if I could catch a glimpse and I saw a few photographers with lenses in same direction, so I realized she was still there! And then she actually flew over me which was utterly magical and posed for us on the monument! Union Station. This owl is just WOW!!!
