Your girls would make a perfect TV advert for Tetley Patricia. They are truly lovely girls in every sense of the word.

Phil, thanks for posting those pics, I haven’t been down that end for over 20 years so was surprised to see that it looks as if the sand dunes are returning? We had lots of fun hiding amongst and jumping off them as kids before the Marina was built.

Bee, they are a bit further up. It was a disgrace to be honest, the promenade was covered in sand. If this was Southport, it would have been cleared. Anyhoo, you couldn't gey a parking space at Hall Road or Crosby baths, it seemed like everyone had come out for a new year stroll.

Just had a lovely visit from Alisha & Trevor (my eldest Grandson) who were on their way back home after celebrating their second anniversary in Duck, N.C. It was so nice chatting with them and exchanging Christmas Gifts!!! Hopefully this will be one of many more visits this year. As you will see, My "Mask" is at the ready to "pop on" again pronto, immediately after the photo was taken!!! :D

Freezing me nuts off looking at those pics Boss Hogg :)

Hope you had the heating on to alleviate things dropping off, and you had all your winter warmly jumpers and socks on.

Good stuff :D

My eldest married Grandson Trevor, does ALL the cooking ( how do some people get so lucky)
This is due to the job he had working in the kitchen of a high end restaurant during the summer hols while attending University!
He showed us two dishes that he had prepared over the last two days:

Dear Dr Tunde,
I’m in.
Please contact my good friend The Tooth Fairy for the course fees. She will leave £12,000 under your pillow the same night.

Hi Bee,

Another possible solution is to knit matching jumpers and balaclavas and flog them on the interweb.

It's a new business multi millionaire start up winner... :D

Great photo, Keith. Although I've been there, I don't know much about it. Here's some information from wikipedia.

Just thinking, if they were made in adult size they'd be perfect for armed robbers to wear on their jobs; they'd melt into the crowd when they escape .....
