Had a stay in a nice little hotel over the weekend, we stayed at the Cumbria Grand in Grange over Sands with a nice view of Morecambe Bay from our balcony. ;)

Arriving back in my neigbourhood after Line Dancing this morning,
noticed that the leaves are finally starting to turn, although my
Busy Lizzies/Impatients, are still steadily blooming!!!! :D

This photo was posted on my "Neighbourhood Watch Forum" which keeps you informed
as to what is going on in the neighbourhood. It is in our former neighbourhood so Janine
and I are going to have a "gander" at it tonight, as they said this would be the last night
to see it!!

Janine is such a Hoot!!! Never a dull moment around her. Here is my porch after she brought all her Halloween items over.
She said she had a "Ball" driving to my house with HER in the front seat, people were taking double glances one in
fright and then one in laughter!! Then some were taking photos at stoplights!!

Condolences Patricia, the little fella obviously had good taste choosing your lovely garden to spend his days.
On another sad note our little pigeon Steve has gone missing. After having a lovely new home built for him to spend the winter, he went off on one of his jaunts and never returned. We did everything to try and find out what has become of him but to no avail. Being close to a nature reserve he may have been prey to a hawk. He was so well known round about, had he been attacked by a local moggy, we think someone would have known. He gave us a great deal of pleasure, and is certainly missed. I prefer to think he found a partner and is happy nesting somewhere.

Sorry to hear about Charlie Patricia. It was that news that made me wonder how Steve was getting on..... Miv's updated us before I had to ask. Ta for that Miv and like Loretta, I hope he brings his missus back to visit. You must feel (literally) like an empty nester :(

Thanks Patricia,
Her identical sister Prince of Wales has just arrived in Pompey from the shipyard in Scotland.
Whether we will ever see both of them in service as we barely have enough escorts for one carrier.

While staying at Chincoteague for Thanksgiving we visited several Gift Shops
in the Village and I fell in love with this photo taken at sunrise. Before the
annual Pony Swim the Northern Pony Herd is led down the beach to the
Southern pen and then they will swim over to Chincoteague.

Thanks Elaine - How are you these days?
It is quite chilly here 50 Degrees/10°Celius and on looking out of
the patio door saw this scenario - talk about: "How to
relax and enjoy what sun you can get!!!"

Shelagh, Patricia is right what an adorable picture. I have just become a granny again, My third grandchild was born January 17th. He weighed 10lb. 2oz.
My daughters first baby, Isabella weighed 9lbs 4, however she said she was harder to deliver than her son at 10-2 :D
