Lovely thought Lily, for special people at this time of the year.

We do tend to think more about those who we loved at Christmas.

Thanks for that Lils.
Heard this by Carole King on the radio the other day, its her latest release called "New Years Day"
I LOVE this lady`s voice, she is 70 next year.

Enjoy my friends, the lyrics are so apt

From the Heavens above, came a voice so clear.
Marielou's first Christmas she's spending up here.
She's surrounded by friends like Sir John and Red Ron.
And Annie's there, choosing the songs to go on.

Peter is showing the Angels his plan.
They know if it's history, Peter's their man.
Such friendly people together they share.
The memories of Bootle and the time they spent there.

We will all remember, when the stars shine so bright.
Our friends that we've lost since that last Christmas night.
We cherish their posts and with Wishes Sincere.
We pray God will welcome the Buck's we hold dear.

Miracle's appear in the strangest of place's,
Fancy me meeting you all here,
The last time I saw you was in my home town of Bootle,
Come and sit down and I'll buy you a beer,

Your pressence is welcome with me and my friend here,
For this little Inn in heaven is a hang out of mine,
We come here quite often to listen to music,
And to drink yeasterday's wine.

Mack at last I am able to thank you for placing Bill's photograph on the "Forum Tribute in memory of six Special members."

Every one who knew him called him the quiet gentle man. And Bill would have been delighted at your gesture to be included although he was not a member.

I could not persuade him to use the computer but he was always interested in what was going on in Bootlebucks and the people who were posting in on every subject. Especially the football banter he said he supported Everton because he was born in Everton BUT he watched and cheered on Liverpool every time they were on the telly.

Thank you to all the people who posted in about Bill . It helped during those dark days and still does.

Great to see you back Barbara, the lovely tribute on here means Bill will never be forgotten by the Bootle Bucks. Hopefully sometime soon you will feel like joining in with the banter. Untill then......

Big hugs

Marielou left us one year ago on the 4th of May.
-----------------------------------------------------

I can hardly believe it but I know it's true.
It's one whole year since we all lost you.
Once in a while we bring up a quote.
And there is your name with a message you wrote

You were gone so quick and we still feel sad.
But your pain was over and for that we were glad.
Wish we could ring you, just for a chat.
Two Bootle Bucks, we were good at that.

The Forum survived but it's lost a good friend.
To fix all the queries on you we'd depend.
When something goes wrong we girls have to guess.
Marielou isn't here, to sort out the mess.

For now as always "Good Night and God Bless".

A butterfly for Marielou, the symbol of new life.
Rest peacefully dear lady, as you continue your journey.
Taking photos of the angels.

So dearly loved and sadly missed by everyone.

Thank you Marie.
I wasn't lucky enough to have known Marielou but I understand that many of the pics on the forum are there because she helped so many of you - what a great legacy to leave behind.
Sleep peacefully Marielou.

Marie (otherone) that was a lovely poem.

Sorry I didn't check on here this morning and went and put something in the 'Chat'.
Maybe Mack can transfer it over.

Thinking of our friend Marielou.
