I've lost access to my board just now as we got this one made up for our Holly as a birthday 'stocking filler'.
She loves those 3 Chicago shows (Med, Fire and PD).
Sadly the image resolution is poor when enlarged to puzzle size but she's made a good start today while I was at Anfield.

Our Jen presented me with this Jigsaw yesterday.
She got it from a charity shop for £2.00.
Looks like another Santorini job.
upload a photo
Think it's funny written on the box "complete"
Do you think that the shop counted every piece?

Keith, I’d give you £2 for it when you’ve finished with it. I love the difficult ones.

At least Santorini was a "like I was on holiday" feeling, the Mersey one is depressing! Jen meant well though!

Holly's finally finished her Chicago PD puzzle. I mentioned in the earlier post I was unhappy with the resolution of the photo. I complained to Photobox and they let me upload another pic and did us another jigsaw - good service that.
I've now got my board back so Santorini part 1 gets underway come Sunday afternoon!

Started a new one at the weekend - one of 2 similar images I got as Christmas gifts.
Took the pic on Saturday when I'd sorted and completed the edges thinking this would be a real bugger; however, it's made far easier by small letters A to F printed on the back of the pieces . Imagine it turned over then across the top there's area A, B and C with D E and F below. Makes it so much easier to work out rough locations and also which way up pieces go. I guess it's cheating really but couldn't resist making use and managed to complete sections A to C yesterday.
Irene - I know from Facebook you have this one waiting in your 'in tray' thinking it'll be hard - you will be pleasantly surprised (that is of course should you take advantage of the 'cheat letters' )

Trust me Loretta, even with the letters, there's still plenty of puzzling to be done on this one.

Great Bernie! quick too! Frustrating at the size of all the little people but fun, can't help smiling at what they get up to!

Nice one Bill. Good quality puzzles from Gibsons - I always get their Christmas limited edition puzzle.
Bored watching England game last night so sorted edges for next challenge.
Once sorted, couldn't resist doing them.
All ready to get stuck in at the weekend now.

Bernie, it’s the first Gibsons one I have had, and very impressed with the quality.

I bought a jigsaw type that I said I never would from a charity stall, it was a old fisherman selling by the side of a river! Santor blinking rini! obviously lots of blue sea and sky with white and blue buildings! don't ask me why I bought it! (£1) I may put it away until I am desperate! (he was the only stall!)
Good luck with your Bernie
