Will give you it to move on
Allowing Slade's 'Merry
Xmas Everybody' the answer is 5 (or 7 if you count Do They Know It's Christmas 3 times).
Wham and Maria Carey haven't been UK #1 at Christmas - the one you missed was Shaky in 1985 with Merry Christmas Everyone (that one had its release held over from 1984 as the record company realised it would be steamrollered by the Band Aid single).
Over to you Phil

The Queen (Liz 2) has overtaken Victoria as our longest reigning monarch but who comes third in that list?

Has this thread finally been "unfollowed?" The last action on it was a question I posted nine days ago.
Please advise?

It happens occasionally Phil - if folk don't know they can't answer.
I'll start the ball rolling though by guessing 35?

Thanks for the comment Bern.
I will reveal the answer Bern and I suggest you can set a new question as you were the closest!
The answer is actually 54 - es, 54.
48 countries share mainland Africa plus there are six island nations which are part of Africa
If you Google "Countries of Africa" it lists them all according to the region in which they are found.
Over to you Berm!

Having previously been sure it was one of those, I gave up and Googled - at least I now know why I was thinking of RL Stephenson

I didn’t want to answer this question, as we have the book in our bookcase, but as it doesn’t look as though anyone else is going to I will. It was written by R. D. Blackmore.
