Alan, I used to love to listen to Hold your Plums. My dear Mum used to send me tapes of the shows. Tom and I used to spend many an hour in stitches listening to Wally and Billy asking the public various questions. The replies would have me rolling. So pleased they are returning, we all need a little humour nowadays.

Great to see Billy back on this new station - however I still reckon we made the best Jingles on Pirate Radio for Central Radio.

All these new ones are just generic and all sound the same. Radio Merseyside is the same now unfortunately.

Also look for MAR Merseyland Alternative Radio http://www.mar.me.uk/ and http://www.centralradio.info

Here is a link to all the old jingles for download for Central Radio - Pirate Radio for Merseyside... Bootle's very own Jim Brown the boss passed away a couple of years ago... Still broadcasting LIVE occasional weekends.

After downloading the zip files they will need unpacking. The zip files are large so may take up to a minute or so before available to download to your computer... We made all this stuff with zero budget just for the love of it. Defo reckon we made the best radio jingles for Pirate Radio stations.

Alan, thank you so much for posting the link to Hold your Plums. I have spent an enjoyable afternoon listening to Billy and also the video of other Liverpool comedians. First time hearing the lady trying to guess Hitler's first name and coming up with "Flipper". Tears running down my face :D :D
