My Everton career, John Connell.
The youngest (made my debut at just turned 9 years of age)
The oldest (turned 70 years of age and still playing) to ever play for Everton.
Most appearances ( have not missed a game in 61 years)
Highest scorer ever, scored 59 league goals every season,(could not bring myself to break Dixies record. John Connell just does not evoke the same image as that of a marauding William Ralph Dean.
Hold the record for most goals scored against Liverpool, (scored 10 goals in every game i played against them (home and away), in one memorable game v Liverpool i was called upon to go in goal after our keeper was sent off and i ended up saving 11 (yes 11) penalties, all at the Kop end i must add.
Won the European cup (when it was a proper champions cup) and even todays watered down version, won the F A cup and other cups under (various names) every season since i made my debut.
A few other little things that may be of interest, i could leap to twice my own height and could hang in the air for 10 to 15 seconds, the ferocity of some of my headers many a time broke the crossbar (on one occasion the force uprooted the whole of the goal (coincidentally that was also at the Kop end) as for fast/speed my nickname was the Blur.
I love my Everton, I am living the dream. JJC.

Just watching the England game, just my humble opinion but i would say that the ex Liverpool player Raheem Sterling is nailed on to be named Premier League PFA player of the year, an absolute joy to watch, he has matured into being Englands most improved and most valuable player, long may it continue. Good result today, if i had to be picky it would be about the quality of the final ball, but i would settle for that every week.
The whole team seems to be motivated again, Seamus Coleman rolled back the years but Bernard (free transfer, pinch me) was man of the match for me, onwards and upwards for the Super Blues. JJC.

Yet again Everton Football Club has impressed me with their off the field activities, today Marcel Brand (Director of football at Everton) revealed that every Everton player gives up some of their weekly wages to the Everton in the Community project.
I am so proud to call myself an Evertonian. JJC.

Sixty grand sixty grand Seamus Coleman, sixty grand sixty grand i say, thoroughly deserved victory today, outplayed them in every department, every player in a blue shirt excelled today.
Really impressed with Calvert-Lewin today, he only needs to add goals (which he will do) and he will become some player, we have got to sign Gomes and Zouma, Bernard (our own little dancing magician) is one of those players that can get you up out of your seat and he is only going to get better as the team starts playing with a bit of a swagger and more confidence.
Jagielka never put a foot wrong today, used sparingly he is an asset to the Everton squad. (Season ticket renewed, optimism renewed). JJC.

I am certain that every single football fan on this site will be full of praise for the way Manchester City have bounced back today with a victory over Tottenham Hotspur after the heartbreak they suffered in the (misnamed) Champions League. Hats off to CITEH.
Can't see Manchester United rolling over on Wednesday v Manchester City but i would still expect City to win.
Got to dig my half and half scarf out for tomorrows game v Manchester United. (i can't lose) JJC.
