Sad to hear England's greatest keeper has passed away, aged 81.

Rest in peace Gordon Banks

Rest In Peace, Gordon
In every sense of the word you were a true Legend.
Who will ever forget that save from Pele?

That's sad news Bernie. A truly great goalkeeper and a genuinely nice person. RIP Gordon

A sad day for football!

RIP Gordon Banks - you were a brilliant keeper and to a youngster who was starstruck by actually seeing you train at Melwood, you were so kind.
You ruffled my hair and signed an autograph for me. I instantly forgave you for all of those saves you had made against Liverpool!!
That makes four of the 1966 winners who are no longer with us - Banks, Wilson, Moore and Ball.

That's right Phil. Nobby Stiles and Martin Peters both suffer from poor health.
I see George Cohen around Tunbridge Wells occasionally, he looks well.
Cheers Ken

Sadly he never received a Knighthood, when it was justly deserved, R.I.P Gordon.
Cheers Joe.
