The YMCA on Stanley Road was in a single storey building on the east side of Stanley Road between Trinity Road and Balliol Road; opposite the chapel/church on the corner of Trinity Road/Stanley Road.bootlebuckess wrote:was the bootle ymca ever on stanley road in an old church

I Was a member from around 1955- 58Then YMCA was on Stanley Road.
I remember Doug Well. I think he use to have a green Baby Austin he use to drive us around in. I have fond memories of playing 'Padder' out back of hall, Saturday night dances, gymnasium classes and Lake Windemere camp each year
