Caterpiller Close was created in 1939 consisting of 7 air raid shelters

i only found this out yesterday
What a strange name to call a road
anyway the answer was at the back of St Andrews church
this was waste land when i was a lad :D :D
the shelters where built for the locals
sadley its a pity that St Andrews hall was hit with loss of lives
