Check out myheritage.com or ancestry.com; they have direct uploads that you can see as posted right away.
I have photos of ancestors; in particular one of the 'Davis' clans!! They are interesting to us but may be interesting to others. e.g. - Grandpa George Edward Davis (one of four siblings) became a Carnegie Hero in WWI; as well as a Liverpool Humane Society Hero as a 'Docks Battalion' Sergeant. His Father was also interesting and we have photos and newspaper articles and .jpg's of the Carnegie and Liverpool Hero certificates as well as charge/discharge papers on various ships, etc. Tried uploading a couple of photos and don't see if they actually were.
Have the family picture from 1923 pre-emigration and subsequently, Grandpa/Grandma Davis's 60th Anniversary with the extended Canadian family in 1959.
Have many of their Bootle/Walton home pics from Google Earth.
Great-Grandpa sailed on many ships but one was the 'Falls of Dee' and there's pictures and stories surrounding that.
Wow, saw the 'Add image to post' below; why not have that for uploading photos and/or files??????
His second oldest son was a British Swim Champ and later Canadian Champ and RCN Swim Instructor.
HELP!!

Hiya Shane,
Fab photo's - Ta very much for sharing.
I added the 'Add image to post' as a quick way to share piccys using Post image's free photo hosting service so everyone can easily post a photo here on our forum. Great to see you are using it .
We don't actually host any images here on our Bootle site. Everything is externally hosted on FREE hosting servers so we keep the cost down and provide a link facility to the photo.
We cannot however guarantee if the photos will remain online forever though due to to them being linked to using external free hosting services.
Hope this explains, and welcome aboard
Happy posting
