Hi all,

Just wondering if any one can give me a little info on Othello St Bootle. My Great G.Ps, grandparents and Uncle & Aunt lived there during WW1.
I notice that the row houses were been pulled down and replaced.
Trying to fill a little history gap.

Cheers

Stanley Road at the top corner of Othello Street (1970)...

...and another taken from Othello Street looking at the back of that block of shops - seem to recall there had been some prefabs on that debris where the Lorry is parked...

I remember when the Transport Cafe used to be Ross, the greengrocer.

Thanks everyone,
I,m pretty sure they moved out of there after the war maybe somewhere in Walton, my GF was blown off a coal elevator into Gladstone Dock in a storm 1927 news report states he was from there, Walton.

Cheers
