Hilarious   such a funny man  "aunty Barbara and garlic bread" material used in his stand up comedy act..very clever :D

The bread is also very good, but as Peter Kay doesn't come cheep, neither will Warburton's seeded bread
Tip; Healthy competition from Tesco and Iceland, both offering a good seeded loaf (minus funny add) for just £1

Mention "Sliced Bread" and it always reminds me of a "Carer" who detailed to look after my Mother In Law a few years ago in Knotty Ash,
My Irish Mother in Law, always bought Unsliced Bread and cut it accordingly. Whether for Sandwiches or Toast.

On the first visit of the 20 year old Carer designated to Care for this 80 year old,

when asked to give her a Slice of Toast with a Cup of Tea for Supper

Asked " How do you do that ?" "The Loaf of Bread is Whole"

Where did our Generation go Wrong ?

Good job, She didn't ask for "Garlic Bread!"

Finnish friends of ours stayed with us years ago, the kids had never seen soft white sliced bread ( there’s is mostly dark rye)
I remember them nearly choking on jam butties. For years later when I was travelling to Finland the Dad always asked me to bring a “ white sliced “ as the kids loved it :D K
ps I always brought a hard dark rye loaf home at the request of my kids
