Any remember the name of the pub on the secure lorry park near Sandhills in the mid eighties

The Lousy house was the nickname of the Albion in Clyde Street Eddy - later rebranded as Buddy's if I remember rightly.
Born and raised in Romeo Street, later Lambeth Walk, Jersey Close, Garden Place, Hawthorne Rd, Gonville Rd now Netherton

Not sure where the lorry park is but The Sandhills was on Regent Road.
The timber lads used to call it Germans or similar. Ken

.....I think it was called "JD Diner".....it was a good gaff........you could take a shower there too. :-)

I remember a place called "The Prairie Oyster" down there somewhere and they had car boot sales there sometimes!

the ceiling was leaking all the time they reckon it was all the lorry drivers peeing there beds :D :roll:
