We left in 75 for Bucks, must have missed that one as I don't recall it at all. K

Ken, I started at Bootle Tech in 1969 and I am sure it was open then, but it was definitely open in 71. Thought I would check online as you do, clicked on a Liverpool Echo link re the Strand scrolled down the photos and came across this one and lo and behold my mum is in it, lady in the white jacket on the left, her reflection is in a mirror. That was very strange. This was 1999 btw.

I played for the Swinging Sporran on a Sunday in the Crosby league. We won the league winning every game. Tucker Cliff was our manager, Bobby Owen our super star up front. :)

There was a Swinging Sporran looking exactly the same as that one in my local shopping centre at Weston Favell Northampton when the centre was built in the early 70's. Always remember the tartan carpet!
Lived Olive grove- just in Bootle. Schools Netherton Moss A, Netherton Park and Bootle Girls Grammar
