Have just discovered a relative Owen Williams born 1875 Harlech he married Sarah Hope 1911 after Death of Wife Dinah nee Hughes in Sept Quarter of 1908 West Derby He moved to 6 Arvon Street who was a Docker and Preacher at the Orrell Welsh Mission
presume Springwell Rd/Church Rd
and also at Mission in Peel Road, Bootle. from 1911 onwards,
His Death Date not known or place of Burial, possibly buried with his first wife pre Bootle Cem.
Sarah his second wife is buried in Bootle Cem with her Daughter and her Son in Law William Henry Chapman of 24 Church Rd (My Dad's brother)
Does anyone have any photos please of either Mission ?
Or any info on him and his Life and Death
Was about yo meet my Cousins Graham and Janet Chapman of Church Rd this week but Graham was rushed into Hospital earlier this week.

Cheers Bobhamo hoped you would come up Trumps.
Found Today in Liverpool Library that he died in Dec 1953 and buried in Kirkdale Cem with his wife Dinah who was buried there in Gen 8 plot 120
in July 1908 he was living at 4 Arvon St per Gores in 1953 but Burial Record gives his address as 58 Keble Dr Old Roan which does seem to exist,
When his first wife died in 1908 they lived in Mona St, do you have any photos of that ?

Thanks Bobhamo,
You're a brilliant asset to this Forum
Now filling in loads of blanks in the Williams Ancestry and made contact with Williams/Hope relations in New Zealand and Wales
They have traced the Family connections back to Owen Glyndwr -Prince of Wales and Owner of Aberystwyth Castle
which I can see the ruins of, from our Kitchen Window
Regards

I know this post is a good few years old now but saw that 6 Arvon Street was mentioned,my 2nd Great Uncle Thomas Hobbis married an ELEANOR WILLIAMS who lived in 6 Arvon Street at the time if their marriage at St.John & St.James church on July 15th 1929...same surname as your relative, same address...wonder if Eleanor was a Granddaughter of Owen's perhaps?
