WoW, Nicholas what a fab picture of the Metropole. Thanks for posting.

Once again my orientation as to exactly where The Metropole stood on Stanley Rd was a tad confused, so I asked 'Google' & found this which may be of interest..........I'll bet not many of the punters in the Davy Pluck bookmakers are aware of the location's history. :-)
