Never seen that view before. I remember being taken around Gladstone dock as a kid and peering over the edge of the drained dry dock. Very scary!

We have lots of pictures of Gladstone dock on Fire in 1949.In the Fire service Heritage centre.Frank.

A great picture Nicholas, that brought back lots of memories.
I worked inside No1 Gladstonec Dock from 1952 to 1955 for
Canadian Pacific until I was called up for National Service in the Army.

Thank you for photo Nicolas, showed it to Jimmy (husband) brought back many happy memories, he worked there for twenty three years, and loved it, happy days!! P.S. He wanted to know where ships were?? (Typical docker).
