Mack here,

I'm not really one for promoting myself as you all know.

I tend to keep in the background here on our Bootle website and make sure everything is online and working for you all with contributions at the end of each year.

I am actually also an artist and musician too.

I've spent the last 3 years working on my new album Live TX - Electro Dream Waves which I started to create when we all went into lockdown due to the Coronavirus.

I've recreated all the keyboard sounds from the 1980s with my new work.

Interesting fact....

The streaming sites pay approximately 0.003 pence everytime a song is paid, so there is no way to actually make any kind of income from this.

Most bands make their money by touring or already have a big catalogue from the past of tunes by which royalties are paid.

This is actually my first web streaming release, so I'm sure it will not make me any actual profit.

I just needed to make sure my music was online and available for you all to have a listen to.

Now all my songs will be online forever if you ever want to have a listen to them.

I'm listening to the album and it's similar to stuff I listen to on Smooth Chill, Mack. I thought track three was very Encore en fois, probably because of the spoken french.

I've bought it anyway, we've got to support up and coming artists. Any chance of you performing at the Bootle Festival in June?

I was so glad it was nothing like Ross' music.

Cheers Loretta. I got there in the end and finally completed the album.

FAB Phil. Cheers for buying me new toonz. I used Cubase 10.5 Pro which was a huge learning curve and Ozone 10 for the mastering.

Back in the 80s I used to use Cubase too on an Atari 1040STE which only did Midi way back then.

All the female vocals are robots, and the electric guitar bits were actually done using a battered old acoustic guitar.

Drums and bass were created using VST plugins for Cubase. Programming the drums was by far the most complicated part of creating the album.

I would have loved to play the Bootle Festival, but I haven't actually got a band together. I'm doing it all on my own LOL

My mate Carl and the lads from The Farm are playing though, so it should be really good.

Great to hear from you. I think everyone is still skint at the moment, so I'm just happy to make my work available online for everyone to enjoy and pay for if possible.

The streaming giants must be raking the profits in from music created by original musicians/artists.

Here is my new video with info...

Hellooo from the 1980s. Mack back again... LOL. I've been busy working on new video stuff for my new album Live TX - Electro Dream Waves.

This new one again uses my original art which is processed by AI to create the images, and I've also edited text into it using video editing software. As always, it's always experimental stuff and fun to create.

It's about 30 secs long, and the computer promps I used were 'futuristic and retro cars in outer space'. It turned out totally bonkers...

Standing on a Hotwire

Brain plugged into the machines. This is a short video created for the song Standing on a Hotwire from the Live TX album - Electro Dream Waves.

I created this video using artificial intelligence along with my own original photography and music. Paul Whelan my old buddy from the original band Live Transmission created the final photo of myself using AI.

Hold it Right There - Live TX

Hold it Right There by LIVE TX is a dark Euro Electro Pop song using classic early 1980 synthesizers that take you back in time dancing in dark underground nightclubs.

I definitely created these tunes for us kids growing up in the late 70s into the 1980s who loved listening to bands like Simple Minds, Kraftwerk, Propaganda, Divine, New Order, Japan, OMD, Soft Cell. All the underground tunes we loved back then that ended up being the coolest tunes we all love and remember if we were goths, punks, and new romantics growing up during this time.

This short 1-minute video combines AI, Photoshop images of 'The Killer Clown' - (Lofty) and The Girl speaking in French (Sonia), these are two great friends from the past both from Bootle.

Photo's taken of them were taken in the 80s and 90s.

The music and vocals were created by LIVE TX 'Peter McVeigh' (Me - Mack the dude keeping our Bootle forum online behind the scenes) using computer software in this song to avoid any confusion.

Celebrating Halloween 2023...

Dark Town 1823 - Live TX

Live TX presents Dark Town 1823. Hiya, this is a short Haunted Shed video I created using the intro from my song 'Dark Town'. It's about a haunted shed in Liverpool in 1823. Happy spooky time everyone.
Hope you find the idea of a Haunted Shed found using my time travelling abilities fun.

I wonder what dark evil lurks inside the old shed?

UPDATE 5th of November 2023!!!

I heard about this shed. It no longer exists, and the land has been built upon with a car park near to Dale Street, Liverpool.

From what I've been told Evil and Dark forces hid inside this old shed in Liverpool back in 1823 according to legend. There were rumours about the local landowner who murdered his accountant and put his head on a pole outside the shed on his land. He didn't like poor people...

The 4 bodies found were from a local family called 'The McVeigh's'. A cult witchcraft family. There was a trial and the local landowner was identified as 'Eddie Whelan'. A notorious gangster, highwayman, and landlord at the time.
