My grandad run the Little Merton in in the '60's.

Can't remember the manager of the Little Merton, Phil, but do remember the tiny parlour, our friends from Pleasant St..would hold family functions there..convenient to get to (no one had cars in them days) and very private, not a lot of customers used the parlour..more of
a snug really, but great for a good old singalong :D
Another local pub, Berry Street, very lively, can't remember the name, but we knew it as The Milk Bar, Waterloo football team would go back there for celebratory drink after each win, usually very often :D

Pub was known as John Regals (spelling) and i think the milk bar was The Stanley. JJC.

Just read all the ideas that are going to make a brilliant difference to the area around
Little Merton ..best wishes and success to all involved in this adventurous project
look forward to seeing the finished pictures of what they have achieved. ..hope it all goes to plan.
