Bootle and Waterloo Schools of Music a talk

There is a talk on Wednesday 16th January 2pm at Crosby Library about Bootle and Waterloo Schools of Music. The talk is free and refreshments are provided but you need to book your seat by telephoning 0151 257 6401 or visiting the library.

The Bootle School of Music was run by Albert E Workman a well known figure in Bootle and Merseyside as a whole at the turn of the century; his brother Charles Herbert Workman was a famous singer with the D'Oyle Carte Opera company.

Local History Librarian Andrew Lee-Hart will talk about Albert and his brother, as well as the Waterloo School of Music which was based on Cremona Corner.
