I am trying to find the death of
Patrick Dunbar (Senior) married December 1891 Wexford Ireland, to Catherine Hickey - 1870-1950.
Born 25 March 1865 Ferns Wexford Ireland
Children:
James Dunbar 1892-1956
William Dunbar 1894-1977
Patrick Joseph Dunbar 1897-1949
Susan Catherine Dunbar 1900-1905
Michael John Dunbar 1906-1983
Present in 1910 and 1911 Census
1939 Register not listed
Catherine's death certificate 1950 says widow
I have a death aged 75 on 4th April 1941 County Hospital Wexford, but as the register doesn't state wife's name, how can I be sure it is him? He had several cousins the same name, as each generation was named the same in each family.

That Wexford Death 1941 seems the most likely as he is not listed as Dying on Merseyside and is not Buried in the same plot as his Children which Widow Catherine would have done.
The answer is to send for the Irish Death Certificate for 1941 for more information on it.
