I am searching for my birth father George Hoare’s family. He was born 1903 and married by the 1940s with three sons I think. Have been searching for over thirty years and would be so grateful for any help. Thank you, Enola

Peter Hoare was a childhood pal and would have been about 10years old in 1944. I think he lived in the vicinity of Kings Road between Bianca Street and Bedford Road. I don't know any of his family details.

Thank you for your reply. I think that might be one of my half brothers the age seems about right. Am waiting for a DNA test to see what that will tell me. Enola

Enola ,

A Hoare family lived in Clemmey Drive , Bootle , in the 50’s

Family of 6 as I recall.

I can remember 3 of the children …..Billy , Raymond , Teresa..

Raymond was aged about 10 in 1956

Come to think of it, I knew a Stephen Hoare who lived in Eaton Avenue in Orrell in the early 70s. He would have been around 10 or 11.

I am one of the Hoare family from birth home Clemmey drive Bootle. We were a family of 6 my dad was Billy born born 1910 he had brothers George - Arthur - sammy as I was quite young when my mam dad died I have always regretted not knowing my extended family. Including maternal and paternal grand parents they must have all died in or before my early years because they were never ever mentioned to me Tony Hoare one of 6 siblings

Thank you for replying to me. I do have some information now as I just jointed a Facebook group that help with locating long lost relatives. I have been sent what I now believe to be information about my birth father George Hoare. Interesting to see one of the brothers. Can you let me know the birth date or year of your father. I have been told that my father had three sons so they would have been my half brothers. I will just go and check the post that I got with this information and get back to you with more information that you maybe can check.
Have now checked what I was sent and these are the names I’m pretty sure are related to me:
George Hoare married Hannah née Seddon with children Kenneth born 1934 died 2009 and Edward born 1937 died 2005 I believe there was another son born a little later. George Hoare’s father was Ernest born 1879 died 1942 the year I was born his wife was Jane née Green born 1884 died 1954. I am waiting to get a DNA test that hopefully will prove this information for me.
Do any of these names sound right to you. Please let me know. Enola

The date of 1932 seems right but I did not think that any the sons of my birth father George Hoare were called George. Will go and check the record I have been given and get back to you. Thank you for helping it means a lot.

So grateful for all this information. I am pretty sure these are my family but I am waiting for the results of my DNA test that I did recently. Hoping that I will see who my line is. As soon as I have information from the DNA test and it gives me my true family I will let you know as soon as I do.
Thanks again for all this information.
Best wishes, Enola
