Thanks for letting me know, John. Is Peter any relation to Tommy?

Did they run a greengrocers shop two doors up from the Muncaster Pub on Irlam Road In the 1950S?
Cheers Joe.

The greengrocer was mum's 'Uncle Paddy' (McKeown). My Grandfather ran a bookmakers on that block for a short time, one of the first after they were made legal in early 60's.

Thanks for your reply Bronshill, sorry for the delay. I remember your mum she used to love going to Chester races, especially in May for the Chester gold cup.

RIP Hughie.
Cheers Joe.
