Edith May Ascroft (1886-1981) - the eldest of the three girls in the 1901 photo, and also shown with the dog circa 1906

Married Ernest Henry Woods (1881-1918) - in RAF uniform and profile; also his gravestone.

They lived in Canada from 1906-1914, where they had two children:

Mabel (1908-?) - in 1987 photo, in green coat holding baby's hand and
Alfred (1910-81)

After their return they also had a daughter

Edith May (1918-2010) - in photo at a wedding in 1952 and also in 1987 photo holding 1-year old baby, her grandson Alexis von Blumenthal

Ernest Henry Woods was a timber broker and worked with Montague Meyer in Calgary, Canada. He joined the RFC when war broke out, was involved in purchase of timber for planes, survived the war but died on 12 days' leave of the Spanish flu 1 week before his 37th birthday.

Mabel married a Mr Sandon and has descendants.

Alfred married and has a son living.

Edith May went to Oxford University in 1937; married Charles Arnold-Baker (born Baron Wolfgang von Blumenthal) and has descendants.

Every family has a good story to tell Bob, if you can find the angle.

Charles had an interesting life but I really like the story of Alderman Peter who began as a stonemason married to a gypsy's daughter and died the master of all he surveyed
