Their names were Blodwen, Kitty, Dorothy (Dot) and May

I have an address in Salisbury Road, number 33 but am not sure if they all lived there back in the 60's

Blodwen was my mother who was evacuated to Anglesey towards the end of the war. I think she was the youngest

Auntie May ran a cafe on Stanley Street, opposite the park. She married Robert Williams (Bobby) who I think worked for IT Phillips. They lived on Trinity Road

Auntie Dot & Kitty worked at the cableworks.

They had a brother, Uncle Ifor worked at the Timber yard - Owen & Peck Timber. He lodged at 24 Scott Street with a Mrs Palferman.

Does anyone have any recollections or memories of these people?. I'd be really grateful if you could let me know and share any memories you may have

I'm afraid I don't know the area at all - in the 60's, My mam (Blodwen), Dot, Ifor & May all moved to Anglesey. My grandfather Evan died, I think in 1939 and my nan married again - also an Evan. I don't know what happened to Kitty - so I never got to know Bootle but I was thinking/hoping, there might be people out there who remembered them in Bootle and knew about their childhood etc. Auntie May did tell a story of being at the cinema in Bootle and them having to be evacuated.

This was my auntie Dot

Thank you lily8 - that's so interesting! That would have been my uncle, my aunties Kitty & Dot & my nan . My nan also lived at Sanfield Road but I don't have a number with her first husband Evan Owen Jones! Mary's second husband was Evan Henry Williams! This is them in this census. They got married at Marsh Lane Methodist Chapel! I don't know where my Mam was in that census as she was about 10 - possibly she was evacuated earlier than her brother & sisters. Thanks again
