Hello!
After a long rest, I'm starting up again on my family tree, and I have a simple question :- If I get a marriage certificate from 1908, will it show details of the parents of the married couple? For example, names / occupations?
Thanks in advance, and a happy, healthy 2016 to you all.
Robin.
Genies help please

Hi Robin
Here is a copy of My Great Aunt Emma's Marriage Certificate from 1910 to give you an idea what a Full Marriage Cert shows.
Great for getting addresses of Bride and Groom and their professions. as well as Names of each Father and their Profession and whether there were alive or deceased at that date of marriage. Also gives Witnesses names, often siblings or parents or friends.
In this case my Granddad Samuel was the younger brother of the bride.
Hope this helps ?

Wonderful answer my friend! Thanks very much, and best wishes to you and yours for the coming year! (and beyond!). Robin in Poland.
In fact, may I take this opportunity to wish all Bucks, Genies, and itinerant visitors the very best of New Years. Love and Peace! Robin.
