I have come across a Great Uncle James Thomas O'Malley aged 10 of 11 Bala Street, Bootle. who died on 14th September 1897 at Bootle Corporation Hospital of Typhoid.
He was Roman Catholic
His Father Patrick was Buried at Ford Cemetery in March 1891 in a Public Grave
and his remarried Mother Sarah Green in a Public Grave in Ford in May 1931

But no trace of James's Burial there in 1897 on the Microfilm Surname index in the Record Office
though Ancestry has found other actual records of Burials at Ford not on the typed Microfilm index.

Anyone any ideas of any other RC Burial places covered by that area or whether because of the Disease, whether he may have been cremated or buried somewhere specific to that outbreak ?

Hi there is a burial for James aged 10 years at Ford 18th Sept 1897 grave ref B 2093.
I'll email a mate of mine who has more detailed records.
It's quite possibly a public grave so don't get your hopes up.

Me again, it was a public grave, the actual reference is BZ 2093. I hope this helps if you ever decide to visit.
