My Great Great Grandmother Emma Chapman died aged 33 at 11 Skirving Street off Scotland Road on 15th September 1866 of Cholera
I was in Liverpool the other week and managed to see on display on the 3rd Floor of Liverpool Library a map of the Cholera outbreak with red dots depicting the place of each death.
Quite horrific around Scotland Rd !
I tried to find her Burial Record going through all the usual Cemeteries microfilm records without success.
Anyone any ideas or able to help. ?
Someone did mention that bodies where found under St Oswalds school in Tuebrook a few years ago during renovation which were believed to be a mass grave in a field there of the Cholera victims not buried in a normal cemetery.
If this is so, would there be any burial records anywhere ?
Help please - Looking for Burial

It will probably be in Latin.

Was in Liverpool on Tuesday 13th Oct and took bad photo through Display Cabinet on this Map on 3rd Floor Archive Dept of Liverpool Central Library deleted photo when I got home because not very clear with my Camera phone. Knew I would be back in Liverpool at the Library again on Saturday of that week 17th Oct but was shocked to find display changed the day before to Black Music in Liverpool. Asked at Reception on that floor they went outback and brought out the map allowed me to take photos again with phone Camera thought they looked clear till I got home.
Here's some more

Thanks Lynne
Lynne,
You could Email the Researcher/Archivist of Liverpool Record Office at Liverpool Central Library, he's very knowledgeable and very helpful.
Ask if he can Scan you a copy and is there a small cost ?
Email:- roger.hull@liverpool.gov.uk
Hope this helps.
