Hi
Can someone please check 26 Catherine Street for Mrs Cosgrove. I am hoping to find her first name to check a WW1 casualty record. The newspaper report only gives Mrs Cosgrove and that Thomas was her second son. Anywhere around that date would be helpful.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Eileen, I don't think Gores/Kellys Directory people went around the streets during WW1.
Earliest is 1911 after that I'm not sure. One of our genies may know.
Cheers

Hi Eileen,
I have had a look in 1914 directory, Catherine Street Litherland is not listed. 1938 directory only lists the street and no residents names.
I also had a look at the 1911 census and 26 Catherine St Litherland is also omitted.
Sorry I couldn't help further.

Old genealogists never die......they just lose their census.

Hi Jan I looked in 1894 but no Catherine, I also tried Katherine. I think there was a Catherine St but in Wavertree.
