Lovely humming bird Patricia, good close up :)

Croatia very beautiful, by all accounts, family had a wonderful time, stayed in Rovinj, traditional and unspoilt, daughter Diane went on guided tour, said old parts of city are magnificent, just like Venice :)

What a lovely photo, I know Emelia had a wonderful time at Disneyland particularly
the "Dressing Up" part. Our Grandkids were over the moon with it! We were lucky enough
to be visiting the Grandchildren when a trip was planned for a visit to Disney.
I also had a great time myself!! :D

Beautiful, Patricia :D three little princesses surrounding Disney princess, what a picture, lovely to look back on when they're older :)
Have a few more princess pictures, not sure of their names, so many of them, guessing this one is Snow White :)

Borovets, Bulgaria, wonderful ski resort, son and partner (Joanna) go every year, both love skiing, usually joined by Joanna's family who also love skiing!
Cold climate not for everybody, certainly not for me, give me warmth and sunshine any day

Shelagh - That certainly looks like an ideal place for skiing.
My youngest daughter & family usually go each year to
Lake Tahoe. I have seen winter photos of same but have
only visited in the summer.

Remember the movie "Build it & they will come!" well all I can say
is "Feed them what they like & they will come!" :D Haven't seen a
Yellow Finch in a couple of years and we bought one of those
socks filled with seed especially for Finches - here is the result!

Thanks Ladies for your nice comments which are certainly appreciated! :D

Tina - I've been paying $25.00 per annum for the last several years to
Photobucket when they sent me a request for same as I thought with
being out of the country it was customary to charge me. Now I see
they have expanded into other areas as well as just the photos.

A girlfriend of mine (Joyce) flew in from Texas yesterday (Tuesday) and two
of us got together to take her to lunch. We talked and reminisced about
all the funny things that had happened to us over the years and then
we drove back to my house for dessert. It was such an enjoyable visit! :D

Elaine & Shelagh - Really appreciate your lovely comments - Many thanks! :D

Middle daughter, Janine & her hubby, Mark, recently had an outdoor fireplace
built and it has turned out to be quite a "Gathering" place after dinner,
especially now the cooler evenings have arrived............

That's a great idea, Patricia. Is that an American idea or did Janine come up with it?

Phil - I asked Janine regarding the Fireplace and she said she got the idea
from a link called:"Pinterest" Apparently it is now the "Vogue" to bring the
"Indoors" "Out" as much as possible. She said she added a few tweaks
like having a log storage also built in and a larger hearth.
Janine is somewhat of a free spirit and is always doing or up to something.
Her latest is - wait for it - "Goat Yoga!" I note she always accomplishes these
new ventures first and then tells me about them afterwards! :D
I told her to be sure to sanitize her Yoga Mat! :D
She is I must say Great Fun to be around!! :D

One never knows that visitors come and go around your home
during the night. Lew went out to pick up his newspaper in the
driveway earlier than usual this morning and upon seeing the
sight below went as quietly as he could back into the house for
his camera: :D

Cannot believe that there are no posts being made on this link -
would love to hear of other daily happenings which were quite
regular before.
The latest "Happening" here is we were invited to lunch by
a friend of ours and also to come and see her late Mum's car from the
60's which she has had completely renovated. It is a Chrysler
Coronet and she plans on driving is with some of her High
School Friends to their 50th Reunion. I bet she will cause quite
a stir arriving !!! I couldn't believe the length of it, how we parked those
cars then I have no idea but I had to get in the driver's seat
just to test same!! :D

:D :D :D Matt - how did you know? I have been called "Lead Foot"
in my youth but no longer! Talking of the Dodge Charger, my
Dear Mum used to love riding in it and was so disappointed when we
eventually traded it in for a smaller sedan car; however, same was so
much easier to parallel park which I had to do practically every morning
when I was working.!!!!

:D :D :D Thanks, Dorothy, although I wouldn't want to take it
on the interstate!!!! My friend, Sandy stated that they had an absolute
" Blast" with her best High School Friends at the Reunion said they became
giddy eighteen-year-olds again for one night!!
Here they are off to the Reunion..................
Image

Ooops, I forgot to mention that Sandy on her Facebook stated that she
was taking the "Coronet" to her High School Reunion but her spell
checker obviously did not "Know" that word and substituted "Coroner"
which created a lot of confusion and ribbing. One person replied that
she didn't know Sandy was on such "good" terms with the Coroner
another stated: "Believe I would prefer to use his name rather than his
title!! so as not to depress people!" :D :D

Hi everyone, just had a quick look at photos, will have a proper look later.

Here is my Orchid, it was given to me 10 years ago when I lost John. (Yes 10 years)
It flowered for the first few years, then stopped, I googled and fed it, and did what was suggested, nothing happened.
The last couple of years with not feeling the best, I neglected it, and blow me down it has flowered.

Is it really 10 years dear Kathy. I reckon this is divine intervention from your wonderful artistic John, orchid is beautiful. So lovely to see you posting here.
May John's light shine in your heart each and every day. Tina xox

Kathy - That photo of your Orchid is absolutely lovely - very unusual
so many blooms. All I have left of mine is the green leaves but I
haven't given up yet!! :D

Received a Christmas Card from my youngest daughter Jillian and
it really warmed my heart - those girls are growing so fast can't
wait to see them this Christmas!!

That's a lovely card Patricia, the girls look lovely, growing up.
Isn't it sad, we have lost all those fantastic pics we have posted. Thank you photobucket..
Robyn started this thread for Marielou, and Marielou posted some amazing pics and helped us all along the way.
Never to be replaced.
