Did you know all a weed is, is an unwanted plant. In Spain there are some lovely coloured plants that grow wild.

Margaret, we lost so much in the storm, what was left had to be cut down,
the gardens have looked so bare, nice to have a bit of colour back.

Marie, it doesn't really get cold. We maybe have a couple of weeks duing our winter, July/August where you rug up. I've lived here for 26 years after moving up from Sydney and only last year decided to buy myself a heater to put on of an evening. We do get lots of rain, very tropical and humid in the summer, a different heat to what they get down south...Robyn

Are'nt those little pansies called violettas. We have them all over our lawn.We have the ones the same colour as those in Marielou's pot but also white ones.I have to cut them down every time I cut the grass but they always come back a few days later.

Another Bromeliad out this week and Passionfruit. The vine is actually my neighbour's but we let it climb wherever and it's growing up through the trees we have growing on either side of our dividing fence. The fruit will change colour gradually to a purple, had some this week and they are so sweet. I don't think they grow in the UK, what about in Spain Marie?

Lovely flower pics ladies...
I was weeding in the garden last week, and found this flower,
anyone know what it is??. Looks like a kind of Lily,
the leaves look a bit like Cheese plants...
Shows you how bad the weeds where, I couldn't see it..
