Thought this might be a bit of fun............

For me, It would have to be in a house in Cheshire where I attended a 21st Birthday Party for a girlfriend of mine and Lew was
one of the many invitees there, although I would definitely have trouble finding the house now!!! :D

On a 'Sharra-Bang' to Blackpool lights.
I organised a works coach trip and she worked in the office, while I was in the workshop.

A house in Hawthorne Road by Christ Church. I lived in the top flat, Rae lived on the ground floor; she was my neighbour for a couple of years. :D

and my friends told me they wanted to set me up on a date with a real nice girl they knew.I told them I didn't want to meet a nice
girl as I had been under water for over three months  So I did met this nice girl and was drafted out to Singapore for 18 months
1 week later. Was a perfect gentleman did not even kiss her goodnight just shook hands.

Ken (Invicta)

Wasn’t bowled over by a ball. By a drink.

He needed “Dutch courage” to dance so he took me to the White House first.

He asked “what do you want” “A bitter lemon” says I.

I can still see the look on his face. He got me a rum & coke.

First time I had been in a pub, he didn’t realise I wasn’t 18.

Still enjoy a rum and coke now and then.

I met Barb in room 068 of St. John's House in Bootle.

Thankfully the new smaller SJH stands on the site of the bit of the bigger one that matters.
We worked together - eventually she joined my staff so I was her boss; of course.... now she's mine!

Hello Loretta,

It was nice to see names of roads where I grew up, not often you see anyone referring to that part of Bootle.
Grew up in Dooley Drive.
There was a phone box at the park in Dearbarn - always busy till people got their own phones.

I remember reading your lovely story of meeting back up with Ricky.
