Hey Guys - Thank you so much for the good wishes!

It really does help hearing such messages from my friends on the Forum.

I am devastated by the fact I could not visit Israel for the Beersheba Centenary but the band achieved tremendous status over there and have already been approached about doing more work with the Australian Light Horse Association.

America is on the horizon in April but first I have to learn to walk again as I am having a full knee replacement on December 6 in Perth. Apparently it is one of the best male contraceptives as it makes you limp for ages!

Bonesy, only one beer?

Thank you all!

Hi Phil, sorry I missed yours and Lily's post (been away)So sorry to hear about your health problem re a stroke
but just do as the doctor tells you and keep taking low dose aspirin and you will be back to your normal self
very soon.I was lucky in that I had a carotid endarterectomy after my stroke and only suffered minor damage to my
right hand(only have problems when Sheila wants something heavy lifting :) )
I wondered why you had not said anything about Be'er'sheva(Hebrew spelling and what my cousins call it) after I told you
some of my family lived there and my second cousin Naomi attends Ben Gurion University in Beersheba but my cousin Dina's husband Alon and
son Jonathan went to the parade that the Aussies riders had through the streets
Take care Phil and it would be a little faster if you swam to the West Coast of N.America from Australia and there would be someone there to meet
you with a large glass of Ed's famous brandy to warm you up.

Tina,

Yes you are quite correct - I did have a previous stroke on November 10 2008.

I just realised that that was nine years ago yesterday - wow! Doesn't time fly when you are having fun!
