Very interesting project, Matt, sounds like daughter Sarah has been very busy teaching school children their Canadian history!
You should be proud, well done to Sarah and colleagues :)

Matt - You learn something every day - I always associated the
word "Aborigines" with Australia. Can only imagine the time
and work your daughter and her partner librarian must have
given of themselves to participate in such a worthy cause.

The article you posted was very impressive and also brings to mind
the many atrocities that have pretty much occurred (some still are)
in every country in this world of ours.

Kudos to ALL involved in this project!

Well done Sarah, not an easy task i`m sure, all Canadians will or should benefit from knowing their country`s history. Congratulations to you, your librarian friend and all others involved....

Thank you Shelagh,Patricia,Sheelagh and Bobby for your kind and very encouraging words.
I have worked in the woods and sawmills with many Residential School survivors and have heard
some terrible stories about just what went on.Our Prime Minister Justin Trudeau gave an address to
the UN about 10 days about this disgusting and terrible treatment of our first nations children.
Again thank you all who answered.
