Thank you all for my welcome back.Must admit I ever missed a day looking
in to see what was going on but just could not bring myself to try and log in
just in case my post would be somehow twisted and used against me.
Anyway Sheila and I are back after cruising around (twice)South America, Central America,
North America and the Caribbean and yes Patricia we finally got to Charleston and our carriage tour
on our 48th wedding anniversary after waiting for 2 years for good weather and it was all that you said it would be.
Photo's from 49 days cruising later on when I can get Photobucket to work

Hi Matt - So glad to read you finally got to Charleston and enjoyed same,
especially the carriage ride!! One more item to cross off your "Bucket List!" :D
I believe you mentioned at one time that you also wanted to visit a Naval
Base or Museum there and was wondering if you had the opportunity to do that?

Hi Patricia, I never got to go to the Citadel because as I mentioned it was our 48th wedding anniversary
the day we got to Charleston and what could be a nicer way to celebrate it than by having a carriage ride with the person you love
in place you have both always wanted to go to.Sheila says thanks for putting the picture of "Rainbow Row" on the Photo of the Day.
Our carriage went along there but there was so much traffic a good photo like yours just was not possible.
Sheelagh that little white faced capuchin monkey didn't need to be taught anything  .Where we went was a nature preserve and no cages, fences etc.
and most important the animals all around were free to do what they wanted and if that included stealing eye glasses, baseball caps and anything else
they could get into there were enough warning signs and lockers to put your watches and purses and anything else that you wanted to keep safe
all over the place.Even those beautiful macaws got into the act of thievery :D

Matt - We went to Myrtle Beach in the Spring while Janine was on Spring Break
and there were far fewer people there than later on in the summer. Any
other photos of interest from there that you might possibly like and I have, would
be more than glad to forward same to you.

Thanks for the offer Patricia. I will talk to "she who must be obeyed" and find out if she missed taking photographs
of ANY of the beautiful houses in Charleston.I was getting ready to buy another memory card for our camera as she was up
to 600 pictures (250 alone in Charleston   ) and we still had 4 days in Bermuda and 1 in Nassau to go before we flew home
but Sheila ACTUALLY gave me the camera for 2 days so I was able to erase some of the pictures(taken through a bus window
when we were doing 50mph  )
