A Part time job

Postby Stan Clayton » Sun Mar 05, 2017 3:37 pm

Because I’m retiring soon I thought I would try my hand at a part-time weekend job.

This weekend I worked at a pet shop.

My first customer was a woman who was clearly upset.

I said to her, “How can I help you?”

She said, “My cat just died. I want another one just like that one.”

I said, “Why the hell would you want two dead cats?”

I hated the job anyway

Tommy - In the San Francisco area you can make a living "walking"
dogs for owners who work and don't have the time. I'm sure it's
the same in New York and other big cities. You can see them with
three or four dogs at a time walking them.

Dorothy, I had a good laugh at your comment
about "hoping there were no cats about!" certainly left a lot
to the imagination, if there were!! :D :D
