My Dad's Elder Sister Edith Sweetman nee Chapman of 47 Elizabeth Rd Orrell made all the Costumes for all the Toy Figures in Blackers Grotto each year throughout the 1950's and 1960's.

It became an Annual Pilgrimage of all the relatives and kids to visit her work each year at Blacklers throughout our childhood.

Got a mention on BBC Radio 2 Paul O'Grady Sunday show, a few years ago when he had been talking about Blackers Grotto for weeks.
