As the saying goes - the show must go on!

And so indeed do we, so....

U2's song 'Pride (In The Name Of Love)' - written about who?

Thanks Bernie.

As in the SIM card of a mobile phone, what does SIM stand for?

That's a belter of a question Phil - and a break from the norm as all previous have been music related I think (not complaining by the way).

We all know of SIM cards but who knows what SIM means - not me for sure (without resorting to Google of course). One of those terms we just take for granted.

Phil

No problem - it was never decreed to be a music quiz, it just evolved that way.

There was me thinking I was funny...that'll teach me to be a smart bum.........just for interest though Ken where is it?

OK will have a go. No doubt we all remember the Perishers from the Daily Mirror (I even remember them first starting when I was about 9) but who can recall the name of the fictitious town where they live?

Its a place near Guildford, Surrey, and Its a major route linking the A3 ( Portsmouth Rd ) to the M3 . Much in use recently due to long term roadworks at the top of the M3.
Lots of Squaddies would know that route as it passes Aldershot. OK Bee :D Ken

ps. By the way Bee, Hinds Head is just down the road ( A3) from Hogsback ( true ) K

Morning Bee,
No recollection of this other than Leonard Rossiter being a narrator or a character voice.
Is that the one ? Ken

Hi Ken, now you've got ME confused about my own question. The Perishers were a cartoon strip in the Daily Mirror from the late 50s til (I think) well into this century. Didn't/don't know if it was ever transfered to another medium.
Clue for the answer; it's generally understood to be a south London borough with a name being a "fusion" of Penge and Croyden.....
