Going with how the rhyme works out on the poem, could it be...

But, you have me at a loss. You know my name but who are you? Just another American who saw too many movies as a child? Another orphan of a bankrupt culture who thinks he's John Wayne? Rambo? Marshal Dillon?

Thanks Bernie, here's a bit of a hard one.

"Now Bill and dear Martha, we sit and chatter like a pair of parrots. And this house, and the sea and the garden. And memories; I have those you know, even if it was a dream. Now come along; well join your young man for some tea."

OK guys, obviously this is not ringing any bells, which is a bit spooky. I'll paraphrase the last line of the film and this is a first, the final scene in the film.

"Come Lucia, your dream is over"

Bee - spot on with The Italian Job.

Brick up 2 was brilliant - my gang all thought it better than the first one although that may be down to short term memory giving an unfair comparison. Have you seen it?

Yes Bern, saw it last Thursday. Have seen the first one twice - once first time around and then again last year. Thought this one was funnier than first one, the songs were particularly good but the storyline was weaker. Andrew Schofield was as brilliant as always and the "Miss Liz Card" character was hilarious. Having said that, I'm no Mary Whitehouse but did think much of the language was just in it for cheap laughs. Get me and my theatre review

Back soon with a film.....

OKaaay so no romantics around here....
perhaps this quote from the same film will make it easier to get;

"But I'd like the pie heated and I don't want the ice cream on top I want it on the side and I'd like strawberry instead of vanilla if you have it if not then no ice cream just whipped cream but only if it's real if it's out of a can then nothing."

Thanks Shelagh. I owe a lot of my movie knowledge to the Simpsons. They must have copied all the great films over the past 25 years. I can see Chief Wiggum looking for a big T :D

A young lady has disappeared and we're anxious to trace her whereabouts.
Oh? Whereabouts?
Hereabouts.
At ten o'clock.
Or thereabouts.
In this vicinity.
Or roundabouts.
We're police officers.
Or layabouts.
