I'm watching Sky Sports News, I feel it's wrong that Phil Thompson is commentating on the Liverpool game. It's ok for an ex LFC player to be bias on Radio Merseyside, but not on a national sports channel. Jeff Stelling has corrected Phil on a couple of occassions for his bias opinion. Great for the LFC suppotters, but not for the neutral spectator.

Once again, Liverpool has all the possession, but they're not putting Spartak to the sword. That line of Salah, Coutinho and Mane, should have buried the game. Liverpool can't afford to draw this game. Don't think Kane will be at Spurs after this season; he's just scored for a hat trick.

Bad result against a very poor side. Klopp bought that goalie and picked him tonight, now he should pack him off back to Germany, he's had enough chances. Firmino needs dropping, give Solanke or Ings a chance. K

They'd miss Mack
You can understand why Coutinho wants away, he's way above anyone else in that team

I'd be telling his other countryman , Can, that his days were numbered unless he shapes up.
His mistake cost us last night. K

Well he hasn't signed a new contract yet Ken so maybe he's on his way, too inconsistent for me. Give Sturridge a good run in the side, give firmino a rest.

You wonder about the motivation with too many in the squad. Hopefully Lallana will be back soon then Clyne which gives him more problems but if Coutinho & Can ship out that compensates that . Agree with you Eddy, Sturridge needs a run and Firmino needs a rest ( after half a dozen games  ) he played better when Coutinho was absent.
Someone's due a hammering, hopefully we can spoil Rafa's day  Ken

Great result last night, even better with Sparta beating Sevilla. James Milner was outstanding as was Salah And the Brazilians. Only wish Sturridge would have scored to give him a boost, he looks a shadow of his former self. Ken

Great result last night but only for the fact we put our chances away, the opposition was poor. Milner has a brain, unlike Henderson :) Arnold is getting better every game. I wonder have liked Sturridge to get a full game and Solanke, they need game time or we won't see the best of them. Maybe next week. :)

Another with a brain returned to Melwood, Adam Lallana resumed training after his long lay off. Then we need Mane fit.
I think Klopp might let one or two go in January, hopefully the Coutinho thing is behind us. Flanno and Ings could do better away and probably Markovich if any takers. K

We were well up by half time so why didn't Klopp take off Coutino and save him for the game against spurs on sunday

Punishing him for wanting away Henry. He looked happy enough, celebrating the late goals.

Watching the Blues game last night it amazes me how players develop under different coaches and systems. Traore & Depay couldn’t do anything in the Prem but were outstanding for Lyon. Likewise the opposite Klassen , Sandro looked lost.
We had a few , remember Bruno Cheroux , the new Zidane according to Houllier  Ken

Salah voted UEFA Champions League player of the week.
Now there’s one who adapted to the Prem very quickly :D Ken

Spurs vs LFC today. Ray Clemence played for both sides. Can you name any other players who played for both sides , say since 1970? No Googling now. :D Ken
