This is Great... For old Corrie fans...

John Aubrey Conway Howarth, MBE (19 February 1896– 31 March 1984) was an English television actor best known for his role as grumpy but likeable war veteran Albert Tatlock in the TV series Coronation Street between 1960 and 1984; before this he had a lengthy career in theatre, and in the radio soap opera Mrs. Dale's Diary.

This was his only LP. It was released on the Fontana Special label in 1971.

It's a collection of comedy monologs with musical backing and spoken word in the Music Hall style.

Tracks 5-7 are short stories from the book 'Lancashire Hotch Potch' by Harvey Fitton.

The intro to track one was used as the intro to the song 'Love Song' by The Damned on their 1979 album 'Machine Gun Etiquette'.

Lovely video...actually shed a tear watching this....don’t know much about football or who the players are, but this young man, Virgil Van Dijk has done a wonderful PR job for his club, what a delightful, amiable sportsman, he showed such empathy :D
Football fans (any team) should be impressed by such a lovely gesture :)

Thanks for the video, Mack, it's brilliant when any team repays its fans. Footy teams do so much good for their communities, especially the under privileged or people who aren't 100% well. We all remember Bradley Lowry. :)
