Given the hot news story about Everton possibly being bought out by American owners I just had to post a second one this week - bet you can guess what it is...

From my favourite Fab Four film...

....and here's an alternate take on the imagery using the theme music from another favourite film of mine 'The Warriors' - think it works very well.

Thanks to a fab birthday present from our Holly, I'm off to the Royal Court to see the 'Let It Be' show tomorrow so it's an easy pick this week...

The show was really good Keith. It's not a play, just 4 blokes being the Beatles, in all phases of the band's (ie. no solo stuff) career, for over 2 hours. Visual presentation was very clever to take us from the Cavern to Shea stadium etc.
Musically, they were all very good.
John was pin sharp in his portrayal and even had the look. Paul was right handed which may unsettle the purists but resembled Macca. George, at one point, looked more like Frank from 'Shameless' and Ringo was, well, Ringo (gear fab, peace and love!).
Well worth a trip for any fan.

Have seen it twice in London. First time with the Original Cast and it was wonderful, second time with a different John a bit weaker but on both occasions you leave the theatre with a good feeling.
Anyone visiting London - The Jersey Boys is well worth a visit and if you ever get the chance to see a tribute band called " Walk Like A Man " do it. ( Sorry not Fab Four but in the Public interest) Ken

Glad you enjoyed Bern. We saw the so call musical two years ago at the Empire, was disappointed that there was no dialogue or narration, musically they were good vocally a bit iffy, left feeling a bit cheated having paid the best part of £100 for two tickets.
Have seen the Bootleg Beatles three times in my opinion they do a far superior show and their Paul is a left hander. They play the Phil in December

Welcome aboard Kathy - great choice for your opening contribution.
Sad one this week as Sunday marks the 14th anniversary of George's passing; so, without further ado, an absolute classic 'Harrisong'...

My fave FF album, thanks Bern.

Just had to be a nod to Bowie this week...
Recorded for 1975's 'Young Americans' album, Bowie put his stamp on this Fab Four classic. As an added bonus, John (who co-authored Bowie's hit "Fame") provided background vocals.
