Tina,

Perth was named by (I think) Governor Stirling, after his home town in Scotland.

When I first came to the West I lived in Stirling Road which ran off Stirling Highway! - quite a popular name! :D

Yes please Lily..the elephant is a lovely creature, very family orientated, vegetarian, and always looking out for their own :)
When near the end of life, they won't burden the herd, but go off to an isolated spot to fall asleep Awww! (Elephants graveyard) :(
