You asked us to name a record connected to a person with a middle name Leslie from anywhere. Stating it was a philibuster from the 70s.
A Philibuster from the 70s was associated with the Philadelphia sound.
For example, TSOP by MFSB, Wake up everybody by Harold Melvin and the Bluenotes or Nights over Egypt by The Jones Girls.
The Boy from New York City by the British doowap band, Darts, is about as far away from the Philly sound you could get. The Adlibs did the original in 1965, but it was considered Doowap then.
