Thought it strange, Bill, my knowledge of rappers is non-existent, decided to take a look, and low and behold, there's Tantrum looking at me, knew it couldn't be our tantrum, but decided to check just in case!!
Bee, you're right about the names, even spotted a FIT :lol:

Bill, what have you done :?:
Really getting into this rap lark now :D
Discovered another one, could fit the bill (pardon the pun :) )
How about EMINEM for 5.
The rapper is seen in a video having a good old 'Rant at Trump'
Could say, he was having a 'Tantrum' (
(worth a try :lol: )

Well done on Peter Sarsted Shelagh and it looks like you've cracked #6 too!
The best bit of advice Bill gave us when I started doing these cryptics was think of synonyms... it looks to have worked with that last one

:lol: Bill, sorry about your flabber being gasted, all very unintentional :)
Can't do much about the guessing though :roll: will have a go at curtailing enthusiasm :wink:

Compilation of such clever cryptic's must be very time consuming;
Thanks for this latest set, Bill :)

Bee thanks, and yes, must try to keep to the script :wink:

I hope you are ready to start again, because here we go again.

2. Newly arrived mown grass with a charge.

3. Part of Albert in the recreational area.

4. The Spaniards shout a thank you as mother enters

5. Stop the highlander & place his raincoat in the pan.

8. Burn and dispose of about the beginning of March time.

9. After service I have a dry spell before using half of the gunfire.

10. Got the room and then got rather large having eaten inside.

Best of luck again

Well done Bernie, that's a god start

Explanations

1. Deck Cs midnight runners.

9. Service= mass.......I have = I've ....a dry spell = a TT ...half of gunfire = ack (ack).
Mass..ive..att..ack

5 Womack & Womack

Stop the highlander = Whoa Mac

Sorry Shelagh, you're still way outside the box :) The clue does not mention anything being removed from the recreational area.

Still pondering on these Bill.

Probably just to eliminate them from enquiries here's a few wild stabs that only seem to fit the first half of the clues....

2 Greenday
6 Blackfoot Sue
7 Eternal

...and I reckon number 3 is Linkin Park (Albert is a watch chain so part of it is a link.... in park)

Thanks Bill - just as I suspected.

Think I've cracked another one though...

8. Burn and dispose of about the beginning of March time.

Burn = char
Dispose of = rid
Put rid about char to give Richard

Beginning of March = mar
Time = x (maths symbol)
Gives us Marx

RICHARD MARX?
