Graham, german beers in picture, puts me in mind of the strong Lowenbrau they used to sell at the Liver (South Rd) so rich, tasted like amber nectar whilst drinking
Paid the price with an almighty headache next day
Looks like you enjoyed Octoberfest
Patricia, birds and animals having a wonderful time in your back garden
Not all wildlife having own restaurant and play area provided

Ken the armed forces Britannia Club was opposite the Raffles Hotel on Beach Road and the corner of Bras Basah Road
Some of us used to send a lot of time in the Raffles nursing a Tiger Beer and dressed in our "tiddly" white uniform with our
Submariner Dolphin emblems showing waiting for rich American widows to buy us a drink As soon as you heard "ooh there's a British Sailor"
you were quids in but if you also heard "ooh he has tattoos" you were guinea's in Must add I was very single ,had a full head of hair
built like a Greek god(not a goddam Greek) and had a carefully trimmed full beard just like the fella on the Players ciggie packet .

I bet they loved you Matt. Sure I saw a blue plate with your legend on it
All concrete and glass around there now Matt. A Tiger was $16 for 500ml.
When I got home and checked my account the Slings were £22 each ( Sterling )
