More lovely pictures, liking the fountain Bernie, looks like water cascading over giant ice cubes :D

Patricia, York, one of my favourite places to visit, was sitting in the gardens of York Minster just a couple of weeks ago, so peaceful and tranquil :)
Did take a few pictures but couldn't move for tourists
All the photos have either myself or Jimmy surrounded by Japanese tourists  so funny!

Shelagh - You've got that right, everywhere we went over the years we
have been surrounded by Japenese - must be a very wealthy country.
It was the same at "Ann Hathaway's Cottage" and even in France at
the Louvre Museum, we couldn't get near the "Mona Lisa" due to there being
so many congregated there. The only consolation was that they are rather
small in stature and we were able to take photos over their heads!!
Very disappointed at how small the Mona Lisa portrait is, in my mind all
these years, I always thought it would be much larger!

Thanks Bernie for your helpful hints. Will give it a try! :D

Hi Bernie, it let be great if you did take it up as a hobby, as all bowling clubs are looking for new members. I can highly recommend it and it really gets you hooked once you start. I play 4 days a week in 4 different leagues. I have played against Roy ( in the lilac shirt in your photo) on a few occasions.

Congratulations on your runner up spot.

Hi Bernie and Bill. Do you play crown green or lane bowls?
In Western Canada all we have is lane bowls.Extremes of weather and temperatures
would destroy a crown green in one season.Pouring rain at night then a very deep freeze
next day would cause ice ridges. At the moment my dear lady Sheila is the ladies individual
champion of the club here in the Cowichan Valley and along with her ladies doubles partner
has just had an 8 point end in tournament play so the medal award is on its way from Bowls Canada.
Next week she is marking for the Canadian National Championship being held ,this year, in Victoria but
as for me if I bent over to bowl I would fall flat on my face(maybe not I have a Jewish nose :) so I am a bowling widower
from April to late September. As long as I have the coffee set,the shopping done and the veggies ready I get away with most anything else
