Thank you for the reminder, Robyn

FORUM'S TRIBUTE IN MEMORY OF FIVE SPECIAL MEMBERS

Ron Sherrington (Red Ron) (Sadly left us in 2007)
Ron was a gifted poet who produced a large collection of poems in his own style that captured his ability to judge the mood of people and the occasion. He was a fair man, but also straight talking. Like John Moorcroft he was master of banter, especially when it involved his friend and fellow member, Ron Waters.

Thanks Robyn.

I was not lucky enough to have met or know Ron personally.

But I know he had a cheeky sense of humour from emails he and my John used to send each other.
I would here John chuckling and knew it was from Ron before he read it to me.

He is missed by a lot of members, and thinking of his old mate Ron W who will be missing him.

Lit a candle thanks Lily.

R I P Ron.

Thank you my friend for all the love and kindness you showed towards me
when I was going through a terrible time in my life. If not for you and John M goodness only knows where I would have ended up.

So very thoughtful of you, Robyn, to remember Ron.
I too have never "met" Ron, but from reading so many postings, know he was loved by many.

Hard to believe another Christmas without our loved ones and dear friends.
God bless you all. Ron and John will be doing the banter and poetry, Marilou will be taking lovely photo's.
While our Annie wil be entertaining them while still thinking of Stevie G.
And Peter W with his books to show them all.

Gone but not forgotten, still missed today, in our hearts.

Remembering and thinking tonight of 'Our Annie' who left us three years ago tomorrow. She suffered a lot but fought above it with the love and support of her family not the least her brother Henry. She had a heart as big as the river Mersey and in my mind was the Queen of the Forum, I met her only a couple of times but what a pleasure it was, we laughed and laughed she modelled 'The Hat' and also the fishnet stockings, suspenders and bra I brought from Hong Kong, what a night :D. She was gob smacked when she opened the parcel (the box was just right a heart shaped chocolate box now empty given to me by our Dollie) and sick as she was she paraded around like the queen of Sheba.
Miss you mate I really do, but if there is a heaven you will be having first dibs on any bloke in a uniform.

Ever loved and not forgotten

Thank you Lily, cannot believe it's 3 years since we lost our wonderful Annie, whom I never met but loved her posts and quips in the forum.
Awesome lady. Rest peacefully Annie as you continue your journey (hopefully with kindred spirits from Burtonwood!!)
God bless you

It was exactly 3 years ago today that me and Anne went to the hospital to see Annie, I gave her a kiss and left the hospital with tears in my eyes saying to Anne how sad and unwell Annie looked. A lovely vibrant and funny lady who will always be remembered for the fun times we had with her. Gone but not forgotten.xxx

Remembering a lovely lady who I count myself lucky to have met.
A heart of gold, and a smile and a joke to match.

Will always be in our hearts, "Our Annie".

A bunch of your favourite Daffodils for you Annie.

Been preoccupied, so missed the anniversary of our dear friend Marielou.

Marielou will always be part of the forum as she taught so many of us how post things.
She was a lady who would go out of her way to help others
Kind, honest, and trustworthy.

Friends forever Marielou.

Happy Birthday to you John you would have been 72 today. xxxxxxx

I wanted to share this painting I got today off a friend.
She never new or met John, but she took photo's of pics I had around the house.
She is a clever artist, and I think she has captured John well.
